What yoga did for Cap was simple: it changed everything. The way he breathes, the way he thinks, where he lives, what he eats, how he spends his time, and who he surrounds himself with. Yoga taught him to embrace life fully, whether the circumstances are wonderful or challenging. That embodiment is what he brings to each class: a grounded, no-pressure approach to help practitioners go deeper on the mat and in life. Cap’s commitment to yoga is rooted in love, kindness, and curiosity.
Cap specializes in leading all-levels Vinyasa classes, hosting educational workshops, and facilitating yoga trainings. People leave his sessions feeling regulated, centered, and inspired. They’ve told him sessions felt “practice-altering” and took them “from unsure to empowered.” Cap’s goal in leading yoga is to help others get into their bodies, calm their minds, and realize their highest self.
Cap is a 500-Hour RYT and 100-Hour Yin certified yoga teacher with seven years of teaching experience across studios, retreat centers, and surf camps worldwide. Cap began his yoga journey a decade ago at BIG Power Yoga in Houston, Texas where his teachers Laura Rust and Nancy Perry instilled values that he lives by and teaches about to this day. Since completing his first YTT in 2019, Cap has continued his studies, most recently completing a 300-Hour Hatha training in Rishikesh. He considers himself a lifelong learner and spends additional time reading and studying yogic history and philosophy.
Off the mat, Cap is happiest petting dogs, eating chocolate, “sending it” in action sports, and immersing himself in nature. He’s a passionate advocate for sustainability and community, stating that arriving at Costa Dulce felt like his whole life had led up to this point. “There’s something about being together, sharing, and connecting,” he says, “that makes my heart shine.”
Tuition is $700 for 1 week or $1300 for both weeks combined.
Total pricing begins at $1441 with a shared room. Add-on pricing for upgraded accommodations available.

Most yoga trainings are designed for people who want to teach. This one was built for people who love yoga and want to know more. This is NOT-A-YTT.
NOT-A-YTT at Costa Dulce is a 7 or 14-day yoga immersion program designed for practitioners who are ready to go deeper. Not lead a class, but to understand why we practice and what’s actually happening when we do. No certifications. No tests. No pressure to perform. Just a rich dive into the world of yoga in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
Over the course of the program, you’ll move through daily practices, engage in lessons that explore the philosophy and history behind the practice, learn breathing techniques, and start to build a personal practice that feels like yours. You’ll also have space — real space — to relax, connect, and just be.
You’ll leave with a transformed understanding of your practice and feel empowered to build a yoga that feels authentic to you.
What’s Included:

Chel has been teaching yoga and meditation since 2013, and teaching group fitness and dance since 2009. She’s also a Reiki Master offering energy healing sessions infusing yoga nidra and chakra balancing (Ayurveda).
A former marketing executive, she felt unfulfilled by her fast-paced lifestyle and decided to embrace minimalism and study mindfulness and meditation. This time of self discovery led her to yoga teacher training with South Okanagan Yoga Academy, studying under Mugs McConnell. She also studies the Kriya Yoga of Pranahamsa Yogananda. She completed her 500-hour training with specialization in Ayurveda at Alpha Omega Yoga. She completed Gong Master Sound Healing training in 2015.
She has adventured around the world solo to practice meditation and volunteer in Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Myanmar. With this unique perspective, she’s passionate about helping others who feel “stuck” in life to overcome stress and difficult situations to seek happiness and joy.
Her favorite yoga styles to teach are Hatha, Vinyasa, Gentle/Beginner and Power Yoga and meditation. She has been teaching and living in Sayulita since 2017 and often visits back to her home in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. She’s a hula hoop/fire performer and loves surfing.

To be completed before the in-person immersion. Content will be released 2 months before our in-person immersion starts. We recommend to map out your schedule to do 4-12 hours per week 1-2 months before we meet in-person. OR, clear your schedule the week before we meet in-person to do 40-50 hours in one week. (You will only have about 10 hours to catch up on finishing this on your own time during the immersion so it’s important to be mostly done the online hours before you arrive.

I’m Maria Wada, a yoga and meditation teacher, movement guide, and former professional dancer based in Los Angeles. For over a decade, I performed with artists like Madonna, Taylor Swift, and Britney Spears, appearing on global tours and major shows including the Grammys, Super Bowl Halftime Show, and MTV VMAs.
My journey into yoga began in 2012, when I turned to the practice for grounding and healing. What started as a way to care for my body became a deeper exploration of self-love, acceptance, and presence.
Since completing my 200-hour teacher training in 2018 and my 300-hour advanced Vinyasa training in Goa, India in 2022, I’ve expanded my practice to include Rocket and Yin yoga. I’ve also studied with Punu Wasu for his 200 hour active consciousness meditation teacher training. I worked as a Nike global trainer, sharing mindful movement with a broader community.
With over 20 years of teaching experience in movement, I hold space for students to move with awareness and connect with themselves fully. I believe in making yoga accessible and inclusive for all bodies and backgrounds. My hope is that more people discover yoga beyond the poses to ease the suffering and live happily and peacefully.

Our comprehensive curriculum dives deep into yoga philosophy (Samkhya and Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras), the chakra system, pranayama, active breathwork, meditation, human anatomy, and the nervous system. We approach these teachings practically, offering tools to ease daily stress and cultivate a happier, more peaceful life.
Whether you aspire to teach, enhance your current teaching skills, or simply deepen your personal practice, this training will empower your journey. Upon graduation, you will be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT).

Sept 18 – Oct 2, 2027 (14 nights / 15 days)
Beth Hartman has been exploring the intersection of ancient wisdom, modern science, and human transformation for more than a decade. A yoga teacher since 2012 and founder of Heat Yoga Studio & Spa in Iowa, she has spent years guiding students beyond the physical practice of yoga into the deeper teachings that inspired it.
Her passion lies in making yoga philosophy accessible, practical, and deeply relevant to everyday life. Drawing from the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Eight Limbs of Yoga, Eastern philosophy, psychology, and contemplative practice, Beth invites students to experience yoga as a path of self-inquiry, presence, and inner freedom rather than simply a physical discipline.
Beth’s curiosity extends into many complementary traditions that explore consciousness and the subtle dimensions of human experience. Her work has included meditation, mantra, sound healing, Reiki, cacao ceremony, oracle and tarot practices, intuitive development, and the study of energy through both spiritual traditions and emerging scientific perspectives. Rather than viewing these disciplines as separate paths, she approaches them as different languages pointing toward the same essential truth: cultivating greater awareness, compassion, and connection with ourselves and the world around us.
As a lifelong learner, Beth believes that wisdom is meant to be shared, explored, and experienced—not simply believed. Her teaching style blends thoughtful philosophy, humor, curiosity, and grounded discussion, creating space for both skeptics and seekers alike. Whether examining ancient yogic texts or exploring the mysteries of intuition and consciousness, she encourages students to ask questions, remain open, and discover their own direct experience.
Her deepest intention is to help others remember that yoga is not something we do—it is a way of living, relating, and awakening to who we already are.
