May 29 – June 12 = Week 1+2, Full Asana & Energy Program (14 nights / 15 days)

What yoga did for Cap was simple: it changed everything. The way he breathes, the way he thinks, where he lives, what he eats, how he spends his time, and who he surrounds himself with. Yoga taught him to embrace life fully, whether the circumstances are wonderful or challenging. That embodiment is what he brings to each class: a grounded, no-pressure approach to help practitioners go deeper on the mat and in life. Cap’s commitment to yoga is rooted in love, kindness, and curiosity.

Cap specializes in leading all-levels Vinyasa classes, hosting educational workshops, and facilitating yoga trainings. People leave his sessions feeling regulated, centered, and inspired. They’ve told him sessions felt “practice-altering” and took them “from unsure to empowered.” Cap’s goal in leading yoga is to help others get into their bodies, calm their minds, and realize their highest self.

Cap is a 500-Hour RYT and 100-Hour Yin certified yoga teacher with seven years of teaching experience across studios, retreat centers, and surf camps worldwide. Cap began his yoga journey a decade ago at BIG Power Yoga in Houston, Texas where his teachers Laura Rust and Nancy Perry instilled values that he lives by and teaches about to this day. Since completing his first YTT in 2019, Cap has continued his studies, most recently completing a 300-Hour Hatha training in Rishikesh. He considers himself a lifelong learner and spends additional time reading and studying yogic history and philosophy.

Off the mat, Cap is happiest petting dogs, eating chocolate, “sending it” in action sports, and immersing himself in nature. He’s a passionate advocate for sustainability and community, stating that arriving at Costa Dulce felt like his whole life had led up to this point. “There’s something about being together, sharing, and connecting,” he says, “that makes my heart shine.”

Tuition is $700 for 1 week or $1300 for both weeks combined.

Total pricing begins at $1441 with a shared room. Add-on pricing for upgraded accommodations available.

Most yoga trainings are designed for people who want to teach. This one was built for people who love yoga and want to know more. This is NOT-A-YTT.

NOT-A-YTT at Costa Dulce is a 7 or 14-day yoga immersion program designed for practitioners who are ready to go deeper. Not lead a class, but to understand why we practice and what’s actually happening when we do. No certifications. No tests. No pressure to perform. Just a rich dive into the world of yoga in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Over the course of the program, you’ll move through daily practices, engage in lessons that explore the philosophy and history behind the practice, learn breathing techniques, and start to build a personal practice that feels like yours. You’ll also have space — real space — to relax, connect, and just be.

You’ll leave with a transformed understanding of your practice and feel empowered to build a yoga that feels authentic to you.

200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Chel has been teaching yoga and meditation since 2013, and teaching group fitness and dance since 2009. She’s also a Reiki Master offering energy healing sessions infusing yoga nidra and chakra balancing (Ayurveda).

A former marketing executive, she felt unfulfilled by her fast-paced lifestyle and decided to embrace minimalism and study mindfulness and meditation. This time of self discovery led her to yoga teacher training with South Okanagan Yoga Academy, studying under Mugs McConnell. She also studies the Kriya Yoga of Pranahamsa Yogananda. She completed her 500-hour training with specialization in Ayurveda at Alpha Omega Yoga. She completed Gong Master Sound Healing training in 2015.

She has adventured around the world solo to practice meditation and volunteer in Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Myanmar. With this unique perspective, she’s passionate about helping others who feel “stuck” in life to overcome stress and difficult situations to seek happiness and joy.

Her favorite yoga styles to teach are Hatha, Vinyasa, Gentle/Beginner and Power Yoga and meditation. She has been teaching and living in Sayulita since 2017 and often visits back to her home in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. She’s a hula hoop/fire performer and loves surfing.

  • You want to feel welcome in a program that doesn’t expect “perfect poses.” Whether you can do advanced asanas or are still working on fundamentals, you’re here to grow.
  • You wish to immerse yourself into a yogic lifestyle, integrating holistic practices into your daily routine and open to exploring a vegetarian diet for the two-week immersion.
  • You are ready for the challenge of 12-hours daily of learning yoga philosophy, anatomy, alignment, breathwork, meditation and healing modalities.
  • You aspire to become a certified yoga teacher with a reputable school. EVOKA is an RYS 200, meaning it is approved by and registered with Yoga Alliance— the body that regulates all yoga schools internationally. Obtaining your yoga teacher certification under a Yoga Alliance-approved school qualifies you for facilitator positions in yoga studios and wellness facilities all over the world.
  • You would like to expand beyond traditional yoga classes to offer sound healing, breath work, meditation, yoga nidra and other nervous-system regulation practices
  • You’re interested in personal attention and mentorship —and not getting lost in a big sea of students from a commercialized yoga program.
  • You love beautiful tropical beaches and being surrounded by nature.

This training might not be for you if:
✘ You’re only looking for a workout and aren’t interested in yoga philosophy, self-inquiry, or spiritual growth.
✘ You’re not open to being part of a diverse group of individuals of all levels of ability and backgrounds.
✘ You’re unable to commit fully to both the in-person and online portions of the training.

YOGA TRAINING STUDENT PRE-REQUISITES

  • Yoga Experience: Some prior practice is recommended. Ideally, attend 3–5 classes per week before the training to build a steady foundation. You don’t need to perform advanced poses—there will be options to learn, practice, and even teach them safely without doing them yourself.

  • Health: Trainings involve 2–4 hours of daily movement. Classes will include both strong and gentle styles, with modifications available. Students may also observe and take notes when needed. Please inform us of any injuries or special needs.

  • Commitment: Be ready for full days (12–13 hours) of classes, study, and assignments. This program requires focus, time, and dedication.

  • Lifestyle: We encourage a clean, substance-free lifestyle during training. Ideally, abstain from alcohol/substances 10–30 days beforehand and follow a vegetarian or Ayurvedic diet.

  • Age Requirements: 18 years or older.
  • Openness: Come with an open mind and an open heart! This training is a space for learning, self-discovery, and personal growth. While we honor and support your emotional and spiritual journey, it is not intended as a space for processing unresolved trauma.

200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Aug 28 – Sept 11, 2027   (14 nights / 15 days)

I’m Maria Wada, a yoga and meditation teacher, movement guide, and former professional dancer based in Los Angeles. For over a decade, I performed with artists like Madonna, Taylor Swift, and Britney Spears, appearing on global tours and major shows including the Grammys, Super Bowl Halftime Show, and MTV VMAs.

My journey into yoga began in 2012, when I turned to the practice for grounding and healing. What started as a way to care for my body became a deeper exploration of self-love, acceptance, and presence.

Since completing my 200-hour teacher training in 2018 and my 300-hour advanced Vinyasa training in Goa, India in 2022, I’ve expanded my practice to include Rocket and Yin yoga. I’ve also studied with Punu Wasu for his 200 hour active consciousness meditation teacher training. I  worked as a Nike global trainer, sharing mindful movement with a broader community.

With over 20 years of teaching experience in movement, I hold space for students to move with awareness and connect with themselves fully. I believe in making yoga accessible and inclusive for all bodies and backgrounds. My hope is that more people discover yoga beyond the poses to ease the suffering and live happily and peacefully.

In our 200-hour teacher training, you will explore ancient yogic teachings for personal transformation within a supportive, sacred space.

You will learn the foundational postures of Vinyasa yoga, including Sun Salutations A and B, standing postures, hip openers, backbends, arm balances, and inversions, with an introduction to Yin and Restorative practices.

Our comprehensive curriculum dives deep into yoga philosophy (Samkhya and Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras), the chakra system, pranayama, active breathwork, meditation, human anatomy, and the nervous system. We approach these teachings practically, offering tools to ease daily stress and cultivate a happier, more peaceful life.

Whether you aspire to teach, enhance your current teaching skills, or simply deepen your personal practice, this training will empower your journey. Upon graduation, you will be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT).

What you will learn:

  • Yoga asana (Sun A and B, Standing postures, hip openers, backbends, arm balances and inversions)
  • Introduction to Yin and restorative yoga postures

  • Prior experience of meditation practice is recommended.
  • In good health to practice Asana (physical practice of yoga) everyday for 2 weeks.
  • Willingness to learn about yoga beyond the poses.

What’s unique about our teacher training:
Our training goes far beyond learning how to lead a great yoga class. Having spent years as a professional dancer, I experienced the pressure and the dark side of a highly ego-centric industry. That journey taught me how easily our minds can trap us, and it is exactly why this training is different.
Together, we will practice various meditation methods alongside physical yoga to help you dive deep into your own self discovery.
Ultimately, yoga is a beautiful tool to free ourselves from our own suffering and limiting thoughts. If you are ready to open the door to spiritual awakening, this space is open and waiting for you. Let us free our minds together. May you be happy and free.

200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Sept 18 – Oct 2, 2027   (14 nights / 15 days)

Beth Hartman has been exploring the intersection of ancient wisdom, modern science, and human transformation for more than a decade. A yoga teacher since 2012 and founder of Heat Yoga Studio & Spa in Iowa, she has spent years guiding students beyond the physical practice of yoga into the deeper teachings that inspired it.

Her passion lies in making yoga philosophy accessible, practical, and deeply relevant to everyday life. Drawing from the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Eight Limbs of Yoga, Eastern philosophy, psychology, and contemplative practice, Beth invites students to experience yoga as a path of self-inquiry, presence, and inner freedom rather than simply a physical discipline.

Beth’s curiosity extends into many complementary traditions that explore consciousness and the subtle dimensions of human experience. Her work has included meditation, mantra, sound healing, Reiki, cacao ceremony, oracle and tarot practices, intuitive development, and the study of energy through both spiritual traditions and emerging scientific perspectives. Rather than viewing these disciplines as separate paths, she approaches them as different languages pointing toward the same essential truth: cultivating greater awareness, compassion, and connection with ourselves and the world around us.

As a lifelong learner, Beth believes that wisdom is meant to be shared, explored, and experienced—not simply believed. Her teaching style blends thoughtful philosophy, humor, curiosity, and grounded discussion, creating space for both skeptics and seekers alike. Whether examining ancient yogic texts or exploring the mysteries of intuition and consciousness, she encourages students to ask questions, remain open, and discover their own direct experience.

Her deepest intention is to help others remember that yoga is not something we do—it is a way of living, relating, and awakening to who we already are.

From practice to presence. From knowledge to embodiment. From seed to Self.

Join Beth Hartman for an immersive and transformative experience designed to deepen your personal practice, develop your teaching skills, and help you discover your authentic voice as a yoga teacher.

Beth brings more than a decade of teaching experience, extensive study of yoga, and the perspective of a studio owner, educator, and lifelong student. With a background in Psychology and Sociology, her approach explores yoga not simply as physical practice, but as a powerful framework for understanding the body, mind, behavior, relationships, and the human experience.

This training goes beyond learning how to teach poses. You will explore postures, functional anatomy, breathwork, meditation, yoga philosophy, sequencing, teaching methodology, Sanskrit, hands-on teaching, energetics, trauma informed practices, the business of yoga and the art of holding space—while learning how to adapt these tools to real people and real life.
At the heart of the program is the belief that you don’t need to become someone else to become a great yoga teacher. You need to become more fully yourself.

The Seed to Self philosophy reflects this idea: a seed already contains its potential. With the right environment, nourishment, and time, it grows. This training is an opportunity to create that same space within yourself—to deepen your roots, expand your awareness, and discover what you have to offer.
And there may be no better place to do that than Costa Dulce. Surrounded by ocean, jungle, nature, simplicity, and community, the environment becomes part of the teaching. This is an opportunity to step away from everyday life and truly immerse yourself in the practice.

You will learn. You will practice. You will question. You will teach. You will grow.
My intention is not to tell you what kind of yoga teacher to become. It is to give you the knowledge, tools, and space to discover the teacher that is already within you.

Come plant a seed.

See what grows.
