Awaken Your Practice. Transform Your Path. 200-hour Hybrid program
This May, join us on the serene shores of Nicaragua at Costa Dulce, a world-renowned eco-retreat center where the ocean meets the jungle, and immerse yourself in a transformative Yoga Teacher Training. Surrounded by pristine beaches, lush forest, and the gentle rhythms of nature, you’ll step away from the noise of daily life and step into the sacred tradition of yoga in its most authentic form.
This 200-hour training follows a hybrid format, blending 100 hours of online coursework and self-study with 100 hours of in-person immersion at Costa Dulce. Online lectures and readings, released before the retreat, prepare you with a foundation in philosophy, subtle body theory, and methodology, so that the time on-site can be fully devoted to integration, practice, and embodiment.
Led by J’aime Blakely (E-RYT500), an initiate of Classical Yoga, holding a Doctorate in Metaphysics and a Master’s in Psychology specializing in consciousness, spirituality, and integrative health. This training blends academic depth, spiritual tradition, and modern physical practice. J’aime brings over two decades of teaching experience and a rare combination of scholarly knowledge and initiatory insight, creating a program that is both intellectually rigorous and deeply experiential.
Drawing directly from revered source texts such as the Haṭha Pradīpikā, Gheraṇḍa Saṁhitā, and the Yoga Sūtras of Patañjali, you’ll explore yoga at its root: prāṇāyāma, bandha, mudrā, mantra, dhyāna, and the awakening of kuṇḍalinī śakti through the nāḍī and cakra system of the subtle body. Alongside these inner practices, equal emphasis will be placed on functional anatomy, alignment, and intelligent sequencing; ensuring you graduate with the confidence to teach safe, effective, and inspiring classes.
This training is designed not just to prepare you as a certified teacher, but to guide you into the living tradition of yoga as a path of self-mastery and transformation. Each day is a balance of theory and embodiment: morning practices by the ocean, philosophy sessions under the jungle canopy, and evenings devoted to mantra, meditation, and subtle practices that leave lasting imprints on your journey. To complete the training, each student will both teach a yoga class and present a short philosophical talk of their choice, weaving together practice and theory into lived wisdom.
Costa Dulce provides the perfect backdrop: nourishing meals, sustainable living, and a supportive community dedicated to wellness and growth. Here, the sacred teachings of yoga come alive, not as abstract concepts, but as lived experience.
If you feel called to explore yoga as both a rigorous physical discipline and a gateway to the profound depths of consciousness, this training is for you.

Deepen Your Sādhana. Embody the Tradition. 300-hour hybrid program.
This May, join us in Costa Dulce for a 300-hour Classical Haṭha Yoga Teacher Training designed for teachers and dedicated practitioners ready to walk further into the heart of yoga. In this immersive program, you will refine your teaching, expand your knowledge, and deepen your personal sādhana within the sacred tradition.
Led by J’aime Blakely (E-RYT500) – Doctor of Metaphysics, Master in Psychology, and initiate of Classical Yoga – this training builds on the foundation of your 200-hour YTT and guides you into the subtle and esoteric practices that distinguish the authentic Haṭha lineage. With over two decades of teaching and initiatory experience, J’aime brings the rare integration of scholarly rigor, spiritual transmission, and practical application.
This 300-hour program unfolds as a hybrid training: two intensive weeks in-person at Costa Dulce, with the remaining hours completed through online classes, mentorship, and guided study. This structure provides space for deep immersion onsite, while allowing you to integrate advanced material into your ongoing teaching and personal practice at home.
Drawing from core scriptures such as the Haṭha Pradīpikā, Gheraṇḍa Saṁhitā, Gorakṣaśataka, the Yoga Sūtras of Patañjali, and the Yoga Upaniṣads, we will explore practices that go beyond the introductory level: prāṇāyāma and kumbhaka with precision, mudrā and bandha as energetic seals, advanced mantra and nyāsa, meditative absorption, and the weaving of subtle-body practices into daily life. You will also examine how these teachings translate into your role as a teacher and how to skillfully introduce depth while remaining accessible, safe, and clear.
Alongside the inner sciences, we refine the outer: anatomy and biomechanics for sustainable āsana, intelligent sequencing, and teaching methodology that empowers you to guide not only classes but transformational journeys. Space will be given for practicum and presentation, ensuring that each participant leaves with both experiential embodiment and pedagogical mastery.
Costa Dulce’s eco-retreat setting supports this process with nourishing meals, quietude, and the inspiration of nature’s rhythms. Days flow between dynamic morning practices, deep philosophical inquiry, afternoons of embodied study, and evenings of mantra, meditation, and subtle work.
This training is for those who feel the call to move beyond foundational teaching and into the depth of yoga as a living sādhana and teachers who wish to embody the classical path while holding space for their students’ evolution.
If you are ready to advance your journey, root yourself in authentic practice, and carry the wisdom of the Yoga Upaniṣads and the Haṭha masters into your teaching and life, this 300-hour program awaits you.

The Complete Path: Hybrid 500-Hour Classical Haṭha Yoga Teacher Training
Step fully into the living tradition of yoga with a comprehensive 500-hour Classical Haṭha Yoga Teacher Training at Costa Dulce. Designed for serious practitioners and aspiring teachers who seek both depth and breadth, this program integrates the foundational 200-hour certification with the advanced 300-hour curriculum, guiding you from essential knowledge into the profound subtle practices of the tradition.
Led by J’aime Blakely (E-RYT500) – Doctor of Metaphysics, Master in Psychology, and initiate of Classical Yoga – this program blends academic precision, spiritual transmission, and practical application. With over two decades of teaching and initiatory experience, J’aime weaves together scholarly rigor and lived embodiment, offering a training that is as intellectually rich as it is experientially transformative.
The 200-hour foundation grounds you in the essentials: alignment-based āsana, functional anatomy, intelligent sequencing, and the philosophy of yoga as preserved in the Haṭha Pradīpikā, Gheraṇḍa Saṁhitā, and the Yoga Sūtras of Patañjali. Here, you establish the skills and confidence to teach safe, inspired, and effective classes, while beginning to integrate prāṇāyāma, mantra, and meditation into your own sādhana.
The 300-hour advanced curriculum takes you deeper. Drawing on the Gheraṇḍa Saṁhitā, Gorakṣaśataka, and Yoga Upaniṣads, you’ll explore the subtler dimensions of yoga: advanced prāṇāyāma and kumbhaka, mudrā and bandha as gateways to energetic transformation, mantra and nyāsa as tools for subtle embodiment, and the integration of yogic disciplines into daily life. You will refine teaching methodology, explore specialized sequencing, and step into your role as a teacher capable of guiding transformational journeys.
Structured as a hybrid program, this 500-hour training includes two immersive in-person intensives at Costa Dulce, each two weeks long, paired with online coursework, mentorship, and practicum to complete the full certification. This unique rhythm allows for deep immersion on site and spacious integration at home, where you can apply advanced concepts directly into your teaching and practice.
Each day at Costa Dulce is a balance of embodiment and inquiry: mornings of āsana and prāṇāyāma practice by the ocean, mid-day explorations of anatomy and philosophy, afternoons dedicated to methodology and sequencing, and evenings of meditation, mantra, and subtle body practices. Supported by nourishing meals, sustainable living, and the serenity of nature, you will experience yoga as both discipline and transformation.
This is not just a teacher training. It is a full journey into yoga as a way of life. By the end, you will not only be certified at the 500-hour level, but will also carry the living wisdom of the classical Haṭha tradition into your practice, teaching, and daily experience.
For those called to embody the authentic path, this training offers the complete arc: from foundation to mastery, from outer form to inner essence.
This course is eligible for Yoga Alliance CEU hours. While not a combinable program, it is a great complement to a YTT.
